At Nbisiing Secondary School, we offer grades 9 to 12, supporting students up to the age of 21. We offer a variety of courses tailored to enhance First Nations student success and to support every learner’s unique path.
We invite students to immerse themselves in the inclusive, culturally grounded education that is at the heart of Nbisiing, offering a unique and enriching experience.
WHAT OUR STUDENTS EXPERIENCE
At Nbisiing, students engage in a rich, culture-centered learning environment.
They have the opportunity to take part in land-based education, explore their identity through
Nishnaabemwin (Ojibwe language) classes, and experience a balance of traditional teachings and modern skills to prepare them for their future.

they join Nbisiing. To start a registration application, please review the requirements
and follow the simple steps below.
To facilitate smooth application processing, please gather and submit the following
documents to begin your student’s application to registration@nbisiing.com:

Transcript or Credit Summary (this can be obtained by calling your students' previous school)

A recent copy of their IEP, if applicable

Proof of Identity: A copy of your student’s birth certificate or Status Card

A copy of your student’s health card
-
Guardian Proof of Identity (Driver’s License)

Proof of Address (for bussing)
Once we receive these documents, Nbisiing’s Student Success Team will contact you to discuss the next steps in our application process.
